In order to meet these objectives, the RTSD and the design team, led by Schemmer, engaged the public and various agencies to identify concerns, issues, and existing conditions in the study area. Based on the assessment of transportation needs and input received from the public and stakeholders, a number of alternatives were developed. These alternatives were evaluated and reduced to the four that best satisfy the purpose and need of the improvements. These alternatives will be evaluated in addition to the No-Build alternative. The public and agencies will have the opportunity to comment on the four alternatives prior to finalization of the study report.
